Ten Actions. 100 Days. Public Accountability.

Every Penny. Every Vote. Every Record. Counts.

The 10 in 100 Plan is my commitment to the citizens of Grant County. It outlines ten actions I will take during my first 100 days as Auditor to improve transparency, accountability, and public service. At the end of those 100 days, I will publish a public report documenting what was completed, my findings and recommendations, and the next steps for continued improvement.

My 10 in 100 Plan focuses on improving transparency, accountability, and public service while protecting taxpayer dollars, strengthening public confidence in our elections, and modernizing access to information.

Every Vote Counts

1. Reduce Delays in Election Reporting

Review ballot processing and reporting procedures to identify opportunities to reduce delays in election reporting while maintaining accuracy and public confidence.

2. Increase Election Transparency

Evaluate opportunities to increase public visibility into election operations through additional cameras, livestreaming, enhanced public observation opportunities, and more comfortable in-person observer accommodations.

3. Strengthen Election Security

Conduct a review of election security practices, chain-of-custody procedures, and physical safeguards. Public confidence begins with strong, transparent election processes.

4. Improve Ballot Box Access & Security

Evaluate ballot box locations, accessibility, and security measures across Grant County. Identify opportunities to improve voter access, including additional ballot boxes where needed.

Every Penny Counts

5. Get Better Value for Taxpayers

Conduct a comprehensive review of contracts administered by the Auditor's Office. Identify opportunities to improve accountability, service quality, and value for taxpayers.

6. Improve Spending Oversight

Review expenditures and purchasing practices to identify opportunities for cost savings, improved accountability, and better value for taxpayers.

7. Protect Taxpayer Dollars

Evaluate financial controls, reconciliation procedures, and accountability measures to help safeguard taxpayer resources and maintain public trust.

8. Make County Finances More Transparent

Review financial reporting and public access to financial information to identify opportunities for greater transparency and accountability, including publishing additional financial information online in an easy-to-access format.

Every Record Counts

9. Improve Vehicle Licensing Services

Review vehicle licensing services serving Grant County residents to identify opportunities to improve customer service, accessibility, efficiency, and public access.

10. Modernize the Auditor Website

Improve usability, navigation, accessibility, and public access to information. Remove outdated content, correct broken links, and make it easier for citizens to find services and records online.

My Commitment

I am committing to a 100-Day Public Report Card that will document progress on these ten actions, summarize findings and recommendations, and outline next steps for improving services, transparency, and accountability.
